JamilaWorks, founded in 2021 by CEO Jamila Young, is a floral company with a profound purpose. Specializing in floral preservation art, we focus on creating keepsake memorials through various wearable and displayable preservation pieces. Stemming from a personal journey, my inspiration emerged after the tragic loss of my father to gun violence.

In the face of darkness, sunflowers became a symbol of light and connection for me. Growing my first sunflower patch, each bloom named after an ancestor, I sought to preserve the life within those flowers. This experience ignited a passion for drying and repurposing flowers, leading to the current establishment of JamilaWorks.

Our mission is to produce timeless, functional art, with each piece being one of a kind. The sunflower, a representation of strength and radiance, is a guiding force in our work. At JamilaWorks, we aspire to stand tall and be the light needed in a world that can often feel dim embodied in our Beautiful Works.
